Through large-scale genomic analysis, researchers identified the metabolic processes and essential genetic factors that enable community-acquired methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (CA-MRSA) to survive and proliferate in human blood. The findings provide new insights into the bacterium’s adaptation and virulence mechanisms, highlighting potential targets for future antimicrobial therapeutic strategies.
