Seminar - Prof. Danani - Machine Learning and Deep Learning in the Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Fields: Risks and Ethics

In this seminar, the main concepts related to Artificial Intelligence will be introduced. The impact of AI in the biomedical and pharmaceutical domains will be explored in greater depth, showcasing applications in various areas: imaging, precision medicine, robotics, and NLP/LLMs in clinical data, as well as AlphaFold in structural biology and the discovery of new drugs. The seminar will conclude with some ethical reflections and a discussion of the risks which represent a critical issue.
