[SCIENCE MONDAY] - The Role of Circular RNAs in Immune-Related Diseases 27 October 2025 A team of researchers from the University — including two scholars from the Department of Biomedical Sciences and one from the Department of Medicine, Surgery and Pharmacy — has contributed to the writing of an international scientific volume, Advances in Circular RNAs, published by the Springer Nature publishing group.In the chapter entitled Circular RNAs in Immune-Related Diseases, the authors analyze circRNAs, a particular class of non-coding RNAs with a circular structure, exploring their role in regulating the immune system, their involvement in autoimmune and infectious diseases, and their potential as innovative therapeutic targets.This contribution offers new perspectives for biomedical research.
