Director of the Department of Biomedical Sciences Elected, three-year term 2026–2029

We are pleased to announce that, following the vote held on 14 July 2026, Prof. Franca Deriu has been confirmed as Director of the Department of Biomedical Sciences.

As set out in the Rectoral Decree of 16 July 2026, the new term will begin on 1 November 2026 and will conclude on 31 October 2029.

This re-election reflects recognition of the work accomplished during the first term and the trust placed by the academic community in her leadership.
