[SCIENCE MONDAY] - In multiple sclerosis, men and women show differences in circRNA expression, also associated with disease severity and treatments

Multiple sclerosis is an autoimmune disease that is more common in women, in which sex differences influence immune response and disease progression. This study analyzed the role of circular RNAs, highlighting differences in expression between men and women. The results also show that these variations are associated with disease severity and pharmacological treatments, suggesting a complex interaction between biological and clinical factors.
