seminario Hamad

We would like to inform everyone interested that Dr. Sarkawt Hamad (MWB Lab, Institute for Physiology I, Medical Faculty, University of Cologne, Cologne, Germany), visiting scientist at our University, will give a seminar titled 'The power of the immune system: from PBMCs to induced pluripotent stem cells'

The seminar introduces the biological and clinical importance of peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) in the immune response and their applications in stem cell technology and regenerative medicine. Special attention will be paid to the transformation of blood-derived cells into induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) and their potential in disease modeling, drug discovery, and future therapeutic strategies.
