[SCIENCE MONDAY] - An international study led by Uniss identified the most effective methods for preserving human feces for microbiome analysis

In order to study the gut microbiota of human populations, effective methods are needed to stabilize and store fecal samples at room temperature. In this international study coordinated by researchers from Uniss, five different stool stabilization methods were tested and evaluated based on their ability to preserve biological information related to microbial proteins.
